Never Forget 9-11 Foundation:
Is a North Carolina state approved non-profit foundation; Tax ID # 81-1994743. The foundation was founded by and is managed by current and/or former 1st responders and military members. The foundations efforts are centered around honoring this very specific and heroic group of individuals and their families through community awareness events; the foundation’s scholarship endowment and our NC 2 NYC Firefighter, 1st responder, Law Enforcement Campaign.

To honor and remember the innocent lives taken from us by the horrific act of terrorism on September 11th 2001; to honor the heroic and courageous acts of those who risked their lives to save others; to ensure this tragedy never fades from the memory of every American while continually educating future generations of this event and how it forever changed our nation. To Never Forget Honoring Those Who Serve; our heroic 1st responders and military personnel.

NC 2 NYC Campaign:
This campaign is the Foundation’s primary focus in honoring our North Carolina based firefighters, law enforcement, emergency services and military heroes. Annually, 50 personnel will be selected through an application process by the Foundation’s Board of Directors to become campaign recipients. These selected recipients will then be honored with a once in a lifetime opportunity; a 4 day-3 night visit to New York City with transportation provided by coach bus; all meals provided; tickets to the 9-11 Memorial and Museum; 1st Responder Dinner w/ the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation and entrance/bib number to the annual NYC Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5K where these recipients will run with other
1st responders from the FDNY, NYPD, PAPD and civilian runners as they retrace the footsteps of heroic FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller who made the ultimate sacrifice that tragic September day.

Scholarship Endowment:
The Foundation’s scholarship endowment has been established to provide two $750 scholarship to two high school seniors annually; one scholarship is to be awarded to the child of a past campaign recipient while the second will be awarded to the child of a 1st responder or military member who has been killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty. Scholarship applicants will complete a 1,000 word or less essay concerning “How being a child/family member of a heroic 1st responder and/or military member has forever changed and/or shaped my life” Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Foundation’s Board of Directors based on their essay submissions. The monetary value of the scholarship is to increase with the growth and success of the foundation.
